Call out for Trustees for Primary Board

Primary is a contemporary visual arts organisation which supports artistic research and production through an innovative public programme and provision of studio and workshop spaces. Opened in 2012, Primary was set up as Nottingham Studios Ltd; established as a registered charity in 2006.

Primary wishes to develop its existing Board to ensure we realise our mission. This will mean co-opting new Trustees who bring skills relevant to its operations. Appointed Board members will work closely with the Director and the Board to benefit from their areas of specialism. We seek Trustees whose experience is in one of the following areas:

– Legal (with a focus on property – planning, development, leases, licences, statutory agreements, construction, investment & financing)
– Artists of a national/international profile (with substantial professional experience and networks)
– Property management / Quantity Surveying (with experience of restoration and development of heritage buildings)
