Collecting the Crisis

Just like any other national event – such as a general election or the late referendum on membership of the E.U. – the Record Office for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland needs to collect material which will reflect the local impact and response to the current crisis. We need your help to assist us in amassing this material to create an archive which records Covid-19 and its effect upon us all.

Any photography, written work, artwork, short video or artefacts that capture some of the effects of the lockdown period and could inform future generations of what we went through in 2020 is with keeping and archiving. Your Record Office, on Long Street, Wigston Magna, LE18 2AH will be delighted to take it.
