About this Role:

We are seeking someone for this key new post who is passionate about contemporary visual art and enthusiastic about finding creative ways to reach and engage with a wide range of current and new participants and audiences.

You will develop strategic Communications and Audiences plans, and take a lead in achieving ambitious business plan targets. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure that our company is creating accessible routes to new and challenging contemporary art in North Kent, and fostering connections and networks between grassroots organisations, local groups, council initiatives and artist collectives.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who can communicate with grace and authenticity with a very wide range of people, and can write beautifully in plain English, without losing complexity.

Based at our Gravesend office and on site in North Kent, you will be highly organised, self-motivated and proactive. You will be able to operate effectively under pressure with excellent communication skills, good humour and energy and work generously with a wide range of communities.

We would like to actively encourage applications from people who may face barriers to employment in the arts. We will prioritise applications from people living in North Kent (Swale, Medway, Dartford, or Gravesham) or would relocate.
