Community Projects Producer

New Art Exchange (NAE) is a leading contemporary arts space in in the heart of inner cityNottingham that celebrates the region’s cultural richness and diversity. We present an everchanging programme of art exhibitions and a vibrant public programme of events along with strategic project work focussed on audience development, engagement and talent development.

We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced community engagement specialist to design and deliver meaningful and strategic projects that benefit the lives of BAME, vulnerable and minority communities in Nottingham. The post holder will join our creative team to expand and deepen the impact of our existing work with BAME and other priority communities living in our local neighbourhood of Hyson Green and
across the city. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for equality, rights and representation with a deep understanding of the issues affecting vulnerable and minority communities in the UK. They will be a confident self-starter who is sensitive, culturally aware and
able to work with a range of different people. They will be creative and strategic in their approach, and inspired to lead projects and initiatives that trigger positive social change.

NAE announced a significant uplift to our core Arts Council funding earlier this year, helping to establish the organisation as the leading venue in the UK for culturally diverse arts. The post holder will therefore join the organisation at an exciting time, helping to expand and deepen the value of our work.
