Creative Producer

York Mediale is an international media arts festival which will explore the vital link between technology and arts in every form. Through incorporating technologies into their works, artists of all kinds will use media to redefine and tell the stories of our cities, our landscapes and our lives.

They will blow apart traditional genres and introduce art squarely to the future.

It will be challenging, it will be inspiring and it will be a lot of fun.

Taking responsibility for working with artists and creative teams, the Creative Producer will shape projects and events in collaboration with the Exec Producer, Creative Director and in close collaboration with the DC Labs Co-Director. You will focus on creative development and logistics in bringing a number of complex projects to fruition as well as collect and track evidence and feedback from events and practitioners to demonstrate the impact of the work.

This role will take specific responsibility for delivering, developing and evaluating:

● An innovation focussed digital storytelling project, developed through a collaboration between University of York and BBC R&D

● A high profile, performance project, with a world leading artist

● An international exhibition, linked to the British Council and UNESCO
