UK Young Artists is a registered charity that champions the next generation of creativity, supporting collaboration and intercultural dialogue, ensuring a vibrant and diverse creative future for the UK. We develop artists’ practice through cross art form opportunities and celebrate creativity at national & international festivals.
We currently seek expressions of interest for an exciting new role.
This new curatorial post will offer opportunities for an emerging curator to develop their skills and gain substantial experience:
- Curating work for UKYA National Festival 2016 and being a key member of staff for the event
- Devising and presenting interdisciplinary workshop for UKYA’s Platform series
- Working alongside a European counterpart to co-curate a new presentation as part of the BJCEM festival which will take place in 2017
The successful applicant will be supported throughout the process by a dedicated mentor and will work in partnership with the UKYA team.
Applicants must be aged 18 – 30.
The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday 13th June and interviews will take place on Thursday 30th June.
