Digital Community Curator (Freelance)

This role has been made possible with support the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and Museum Association’s ‘Sustaining Engagement with Collection Fund’ and supports ‘Commoning the Collection’, a short-term 12 month project for Leeds Art Gallery.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is organised, energetic and committed to broadening access through digital platforms.

You will work alongside colleagues in curatorial, engagement and audience development to develop and deliver a meaningful programme of community engagement and outreach, around the theme of ‘Commoning the Collection: Testing models for building communities and sharing collection resources digitally at a time of social distancing.’

The project will put community relationships at the centre of Leeds Art Gallery’s activity and will ensure that Leeds Art Gallery’s is using its collections in a way that is relevant and of positive benefit to of its communities.
