Evaluator

2018 represents a turning point for the organisation as it celebrates ten years since the establishment of BCB and looks forward to planning British Ceramics Biennial 2019. The organisation has entered a new phase in its development, as The Clay Foundation CIO (registered charity no.1160430) – the organisation which runs the BCB – becomes a level 1 Arts Council (ACE) National Portfolio Organisation.

A new approach to evaluation is also called for, new thinking around how the organisation evaluates and assesses its work and its impact. Whilst this new approach is intended to assist the organisation with its marketing, monitoring and reporting requirements it is also crucial in informing organisational development and improving the delivery of its services. The evaluator will provide us with the tools needed to do this effectively and the refine what we do across the organisation.
