FORMAT Director (Maternity Cover)

FORMAT is a major international photography festival which takes place in venues throughout Derby, produced by QUAD in partnership with the University of Derby. Over the last 10+ years we have established the programme to become the UK’s leading International Festival of Photography and related media, attracting audiences from all over the world.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to lead the FORMAT Team and delivery of FORMAT International Photography Festival 2017.

This role is to cover a period of maternity leave and the new post holder will be expected to maintain the high standard of presentation and audience care in the delivery of the FORMAT programme. Managing a creative and diverse team across multiple organisations and locations, you will be experienced in implementing large scale events or festivals with a background in the cultural sector.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced festival Director to play an important role, to be hands on and lead a great team to deliver FORMAT17, directing the delivery of high impact exhibitions, events and diverse programmes.
