George Davies Centre Gallery Coordinator

The Attenborough Arts Centre at the University of Leicester are looking to recruit a Gallery Coordinator to work within the George Davis Centre.

The postholder will;
• Curate exhibitions displayed in GDC Gallery (reception).
• Manage the logistics of the exhibition programme.
• Outline and create opportunities for expanding the reach of the exhibitions being displayed beyond the gallery itself.
• Organise (in conjunction with HM team) events to complement the exhibitions for public engagement purposes.
• Work within a specified budget

This role will be a vehicle for the developing Public Engagement with Research Strategy (PERS) as it will support visibility and celebration of artist collaborations for PER.

We expect the role holder to spend approx. 15 hours per artist for each new exhibition and to fulfill the key tasks set out above.
