Tate Liverpool will celebrate its 30th birthday in 2018 and is one of the most popular galleries of modern and contemporary art outside of London, welcoming 600,000 visitors each year.
This is an exceptional time for an experienced fundraising professional to join this world-class organisation. This role has responsibility for reviewing and implementing Tate Liverpool’s fundraising strategy and managing the gallery Development team, working collaboratively with Tate’s Development team in London, one of the most successful arts fundraising teams in the UK.
You will be a successful development professional with good experience of securing significant funds from a wide range of sources. You are capable of working at a senior management level, have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and inspire your team and senior volunteers. Critical to your success is your ability to develop a regional network, as well as your confident, highly respected, professional approach. Of equal importance is your ability to work effectively across a complex organisation, and your interest in the visual arts. You could have gained these skills and experiences in any part of the not-for-profit sector.
