We are looking for a dynamic new member of our team. Someone to lead, manage, enable, facilitate, develop, instigate, advocate and be an ambassador for the benefit of the organisation in devising and delivering our fundraising strategy in support of our core purpose and dealing with the specific challenges presented by Covid-19 and into a post-Covid cultural landscape.
The role involves working across the following areas:
- Driving forward Compton Verney’s fundraising strategy, working across the organisation, with trustees, funders and partners
- Overseeing the development and implementation of a fundraising culture, with ambition, striving for securing longer term funding against the programme, engagement activity and capital enhancements
- Overseeing major funding bids for significant projects to improve the offer, as linked to business plans including the grounds masterplan
- Instigating and developing a ‘giving’ culture across the wider visitor experience, in upselling and working with front line teams.
- Developing and managing staff and working with volunteers
- Ensuring a sustainable financial future for Compton Verney through the strategy and culture change
