Making Ways is a three-year project, funded by Arts Council England’s Ambition for Excellence strand and a range of partners, that will demonstrate, celebrate and develop exceptional contemporary visual art produced in Sheffield. The project will reveal artistic talent in year one and take talented individual artists to the next level in years two and three.Making Wayswill stimulate and support the growth of artistic talent and leadership by building the profile of the artistic community and developing infrastructure and capacity to achieve step-change.
Making Ways is part of The Year of Making, 2016, a Sheffield Culture Consortium campaign that celebrates Sheffield’s past, present and future as a city of makers.
The project is led by Sheffield Culture Consortium, (including Yorkshire Artspace, Sheffield Theatres Trust, Museums Sheffield, Sheffield Industrial Museums Trust, Site Gallery, the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam University), with line management and project support provided by Museums Sheffield.
Key Role:
The Programme Coordinator will have excellent administrative and coordination skills and be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the programme. They will work with a wide range of partners to support, develop and implement the Making Ways programme.
