Marketing and Development Manager

The Sidney Nolan Trust is a unique national and international arts organisation situated on the outskirts of Presteigne in the Welsh Marches. It is based at The Rodd, a 245 acre organic farm and ancient woodland including a complex of historic buildings and gallery, which was originally purchased by Australian artist Sidney Nolan and is where he subsequently established the Trust to realise his long held ambition to create a rural centre of artistic excellence for artists and the public to experiment with and enjoy art. The Trust manages exhibitions of Sidney Nolan’s work both in its gallery and nationally and internationally, alongside hosting artist residencies, camps and workshops together with its Learning Programme for young people, local schools and those who would not normally have the opportunity to engage with the arts.

The Trust has recently acquired Rodd Court, the 17th Century manor house at the centre of the estate, and is about to embark on an extensive development project in which the Marketing and Development Manager will play an invaluable role. They will devise, implement and manage the implementation of a cohesive marketing, communications and income generation strategy across all the activity of the Sidney Nolan Trust.
