Nottingham Contemporary: Development Manager

This is a wonderful opportunity to join our team as Development Manager, supporting our Head of Development and Director with our ambitious development strategy.

As Development Manager, you will be a pivotal member of the team, gaining income from a wide range of sources, including but not limited to Trusts and Foundations, Individual Donors, and corporate sponsorship (including from commercial galleries). You will ensure excellent stewardship of all our existing supporters at various events and support the growth of a good pipeline of new donors through exciting cultivation opportunities, and you will lead on our Artist Editions Programme.

Ideally, you’ll already have general fundraising experience and are looking for a more senior development role that you can grow into, but we are also interested to hear from those with transferable skills from hospitality, front of house, events management or commercial sales, for example.

If you would like to know more about this role, our team and organisation, we will be holding an informal online information session on Thursday 1 February at 10am. Please book on by emailing recruitment@nottinghamcontemporary.org.

We actively encourage applications and operate a positive action interview scheme, where we will offer an interview to any applicant who meets the minimum criteria for the role from people whose perspectives and experiences are currently under-represented on our team:

  • people from ethnically diverse cultural backgrounds,
  • people from working class / lower socio-economic backgrounds,
  • people who identify as disabled or have a long-term condition.

To apply, please download our application form and return to recruitment@nottinghamcontemporary.org
