Craig Ashley is leaving mac birmingham to lead Turning Point West Midlands after almost 7 very successful years in shaping the commissioning, curating and visual and applied arts programmes of this very busy arts centre and creative hub.
We now wish to recruit a Visual Arts Producer to develop, curate and manage our Visual Arts productions, partnership projects, relationships and programmes and contribute to planned strategic developments, including Outreach and touring activities.
As a producer you should have a consultative approach with the ability to build trust and rapport and to deliver in a consistent and timely fashion on a range of simultaneous projects. You will have direct hands-on programming and project delivery responsibilities and be prepared to bring your experience and expertise to mac, contributing new ideas, providing direction and encouraging strategic growth in all areas of your work. We are open to different approaches to fulfilling this role and often work with partner organisations and producers / programmers in delivering our artistic developments.
