Programmer (Artist Development)

The Programmer (Artist Development) for Richmond Arts Service and Orleans House Gallery (OHG) is responsible for parts of the public and strategic programmes delivered by the Arts Service. This includes the management of a series of projects, events and programmes that develop artists and the arts sector at a range of levels within the borough, as well as bringing new artists and art forms to the borough.

The post requires an experienced cultural programme developer, with experience of developing and managing public programmes, and the partnerships, people and resources to deliver them.

Who we are
Based at Orleans House Gallery on Twickenham Riverside, the Arts Service team is responsible for a range of creative programmes that have the public at the heart of the activity.

We deliver a number of high profile festivals including the Richmond Literature Festival that bring new art to the borough, alongside strategic projects to support artists and develop the local arts sector.

We are advertising several new posts within a newly designed structure. This position will sit alongside a further two Programmers who have expertise in Exhibitions & Collections and Learning & Engagement. The Programmers are supported by a team of Arts Officers.
