Programmer (Exhibitions and Collections)

The Programmer (Exhibitions and Collections) for Richmond Arts Service and Orleans House Gallery (OHG) is responsible for parts of the public and strategic programmes delivered by the Arts Service. This includes programming across three exhibition spaces, setting a visual arts strategy that supports local artists as well as bringing new art to the borough. The Programmer (Exhibitions and Collections) will manage the Richmond Borough Art Collection and the interpretation of the venue.

This is a new post within the Arts Service and provides an opportunity to contribute to the next phase of the service. The post is one of three positions that develop and deliver the cultural programmes for the Arts Service.

Who we are
Based at Orleans House Gallery on Twickenham Riverside, the team is responsible for a range of creative programmes that have the public at the heart of the activity.

As well as managing the historic site of Orleans House Gallery and holding the Richmond Borough Art Collection, we deliver a range of contemporary exhibitions across three galleries that support local artists and bring new art to the borough.

We are advertising several new posts within a newly designed structure. This position will sit alongside a further two Programmers who have expertise in Artist Development and Learning & Engagement. The Programmers are supported by a team of Arts Officers.
