Schools and Teachers Programme Tutors

We are looking for talented individuals to join our Learning and National Programmes department as Tutors.

School and Teacher Tutors support and contribute to The National Gallery’s onsite and offsite Schools and Teachers Programme. Tutors will plan and deliver new learning sessions in line with the programme objectives as well as lead some of the standard programme delivered to both pupil and teachers.

This is an active teaching post delivering to a range of school groups (KS1-5) both onsite and offsite. The tutors will also be required to support the delivery of teacher training sessions. The tutors will have excellent understanding of the school curriculum and how this translates to teaching outside of the classroom.

The tutors will have exemplary understanding and practical experience of interpreting paintings as well as of the education system, pedagogy and practice.
