Sculpture Technician

Set in 500 acres of historic parkland Yorkshire Sculpture Park seeks to provide a centre of regional, national and international importance for the creation and appreciation of modern and contemporary sculpture.

YSP is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to work with the Technical team in all aspects of the installation of indoor and outdoor exhibitions and the care of works.

You will have at least 2 years’ experience of gallery installation, including fine art handling, to enable you to contribute to the on-going care and maintenance of all works of art at YSP or under the care of YSP at other locations.

A full driving licence and practical experience of a wide range of DIY tasks using both hand and power tools, together with the capability to undertake the physical aspects of installation, de-installation, maintenance and building work are essential.

This is a permanent full-time contract with a salary of £17,000 p.a.
