We are seeking a dynamic, highly creative and target driven Senior Learning Manager to lead the award winning Learning team at one of the UK’s most successful public art galleries.
This post will oversee the strategic development of a fully integrated and innovative Learning Programme for a wide-ranging audience including schools, families, community groups, students and professionals.
You will work closely with the Director of Engagement and Learning and the Programme Team to ensure the successful delivery of the programme in line with The Hepworth Wakefield’s mission and business plan. You will provide strategic leadership for the Learning Programme, directing its development, management, delivery and evaluation.
You will be responsible for line management of the Learning team and a team of freelance Creative Practitioners whilst liaising with strategic partners and funders to deliver existing and develop new programmes of work and projects. You will have an excellent working knowledge of contemporary art, art history and visual culture allied with excellent, up to date knowledge of the priorities and challenges experienced in formal and non-formal learning sectors.
