The Lodge Project

The Lodge Project will enable an established UK artist to undertake a funded 3 month residency, in a cottage in Wirksworth in the Derbyshire Dales, from July to September of 2019. They are looking for someone who doesn’t know the area, and hope that the outcomes might reflect aspects of the area from an outsider’s point of view – the landscape, diverse architecture, industrial past and community. The successful applicant will be provided with a fully furnished C18th century, 3 bedroom cottage, about 2 miles from the town of Wirksworth and a fee of £3,000.
