This session is for artists of all levels who want to understand the best tips for enjoying a successful show and the selection process for commercial art fairs and exhibitions.

Our hosts for this event are Laura O’Hare and Shirley-Ann O’Neill, founders of the VAA, the Visual Art Open prize, and authors of the bestselling book ‘Good Art Does Not Sell Itself’. They will be joined by VAA Artist Mentor Karen van Hoey Smith, along with industry experts who will share their experience of Selling at Art Fairs and exhibitions.

Hannah is Fair Manager at The Other Art Fair London, working with London based and International artists alike to build an exhibitor base of impressive artistic talent. Her current role intertwines curation and feature management, with previous experience in Marketing of the global editions of the Fair and PR at a leading Fashion House. With a strong background in the Arts Hannah has completed an MA in Contemporary Art Theory from Goldsmiths, along with a BA from the University of Leeds

Will Claridge:

Roy’s Art Fair Director and Curator Will Claridge is a professional artist exploring the perspective of everyday life through abstract painting, photography and film. Based in Suffolk, Will is represented by galleries throughout the UK and participates in art fairs regularly whilst also successfully running annual Art fairs with full artist liaison responsibilities
