Job Title: Curator

Responsible to: Chief Curator

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £25,000 p/a

Term: Full-time, permanent contract

Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading and largest centres for contemporary art, is looking for a Curator to work closely with the Director, Chief Curator and Assistant Curator to shape, produce and deliver exhibitions, commissions and cross-departmental collaborations. The post holder will work in dialogue with the Learning, Live Programmes and Technical teams in developing the programme.

We are keen to hear from people who are collaborative and organised, who are self-motivated and can motivate others, and who are committed to the arts to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Exhibitions Department.

To support applicants, we host an online information session. This is an opportunity to meet some of the team, find out more about the role and the organisation, and ask questions. It is designed to encourage applications and is not part of the selection process. It will be with 3 or 4 members of the team alongside other people interested in applying for the post or finding out more. You can choose to have your camera on or off (but it would be great to meet you). It will be captioned and with the Chat function open for questions.
