The position will be part of the IAN, the Invisible Artwork, a collective of inspiring artists, arts organisations and technologists exploring how we can make and see more great Digital Arts in and around Herefordshire and the Marches (https://www.invisiblearts.org/). IAN is Rural Media’s primary activity as an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This role will focus on the creative and critical use of technology as a way to push the boundaries on what can be achieved across the regional arts sector by working with network members to: 1) Build partnerships projects 2) Explore audience engagement for Digital Art in a sparsely populated rural county 3) Create a portfolio piece of network-produced Digital Art, There will be a separate budget to produce the network digital art piece, which must be produced with a range of network members, advancing their knowledge and access to new creative technologies while expanding their impact and audience for digital art in the region.
