Derby Museums offers a full, varied programme of family activities across the three sites that make up the Trust – The Museum & Art Gallery, Pickford’s House and The Silk Mill. With an emphasis on co-producing and facilitating intergenerational learning experiences which engage the head, heart and hands, we are looking to increase our team of Learning Facilitators. Our Facilitators will be delivering activities for all ages across our three sites as well as during our outreach work.
Drawing inspiration from our outstanding permanent collections, which range from Archaeology, Natural History, Industrial History, Joseph Wright Paintings of international significance as well as a varied programme of temporary exhibitions, there are plenty of creative opportunities to inspire and engage our audiences.
As we continue to prepare for our varied spring and summer programme, we are looking for creative individuals to support with the planning and delivery of our activity sessions.
The Learning Facilitators will be employed by Derby Museums on a Freelance basis with the rate of pay set at £11.00 per hour and will be required to undertake a DBS check.
