Hereford College of Arts is a dedicated arts college with a specialist focus on art, media, design, popular music and performing arts. As Marketing Communications Producer, you will be focused on engaging a range of audiences and raising the profile and reputation of the College. Responsible for planning and delivering website and blog content, social media and PR, you will tell compelling stories about diverse and exciting creative activity at the College. You will also use your excellent copy-writing skills and savvy marketing approach to produce effective marketing materials.
Reporting to the Head of Communications, you will be part of a busy team growing our student numbers in Higher Education and maintaining healthy recruitment in Further Education. You will also take a lead role in internal communications within the college.
We are looking for a confident communicator to work with flair across a range of platforms from traditional press releases to innovative social media activation. You will need excellent copy-writing, with a good eye for nuance and detail, and the ability to build strong rapport with contacts at all levels. The right candidate will have solid professional experience in marketing communications (3-5+ years), a passion for the arts and specialist arts education.
