It Takes A Region To Raise An Artist survey receives over 400 responses!
Our It Takes A Region To Raise An Artist survey closed on 30th June and received a fantastic response!By participating in it you’re helping us, in partnership with the University of Leicester’s research institute CAMEo, to develop a detailed picture of the visual arts sector across the region and uncover the lived reality of the region’s visual arts community; share their achievements and understand the barriers they face in realising their artistic and economic potential and what they think could help them to do that. Many thanks to everyone who completed and shared it.
The four winners have been drawn and will receive their High Street voucher prizes very soon.
Dr Antoinette Burchill, Research Associate at CAMEo, presented the first cut findings at the launch of S.H.E.D. at Primary in Nottingham on 3rd July. She gave an overview on the types of people who had responded: their locations, art forms and career stage, and talked about the next steps, which will be to collate and analyse the findings with a view to presenting them at an event in the autumn.
