Co-production Volunteer & Programme Co-ordinator (Maternity Cover)

Derby Museums is looking for maternity cover for the coordination of our Co-production Volunteers and Volunteer Programme, facilitating opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to be actively involved in co-production and volunteering experiences for life-long learning, skills and enjoyment, across our three sites.  You will manage positive relationships with our Co-production Volunteers, working with Derby Museums’ colleagues to identify programmes and activities that volunteers can help develop and deliver.

Role Purpose:

• To develop and lead a comprehensive and innovative co-production volunteering programme across Derby Museums.
• To ensure a positive culture of volunteering and good practice is embedded throughout Derby Museums.
• To develop and manage relationships with Co-production Volunteers for the development and delivery phases (subject to funding) of the Derby Silk Mill Museum of Making.
• To facilitate a diverse range of co-production and volunteering opportunities for volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life.
