Sevenfold is an exhibition by seven graduating students from the MA Fine Art programme at the University of Northampton.

The exhibition showcases the artists’ progress across the programme, highlighting a variety of artistic disciplines including print-making, sculpture, drawing, painting and installation. Themes from the seven artists’ practice include: the body in print, drawing in response to architecture, painting politics, the movement of material, the exploration of line and repetition, the aesthetics of drawing and the everyday routine. Whilst the works of the individual artists contrast in both medium and concept, the exhibition has been curated as a collective and as such, means the artists come together… SEVENFOLD.

“The MA Fine Art exhibition is the culmination of the students’ engagement with the course. Over the time they’ve undertaken the MA at Northampton each of the seven students have developed distinct and highly developed practices that range over and in certain instances nestle within or between media. As well as showcasing their individual artistic talents, the exhibition represents the creativity, commitment and industry they have brought to the work on view and to their studies generally.” Dr Craig Staff – Leader of the MA Fine Art programme at the University of Northampton.

The private view will be on the 22nd September from 6pm until 8pm. Drinks and nibbles will be provided. The show will continue from 9am on the 23rd of September until 4pm on the 28th September.
Daytime opening hours are 9am – 4pm. Closed on Sundays.
