About

Chris Lewis-Jones’ new body of works are mainly executed in watercolour and represent everyday objects utlilised ritualistically within the realm of the domestic: vegetables, tools for food preparation, cleaning objects. The ‘accoutrements’ represented are the tools of his ‘domestic trade’, celebrating the positive role that ritual plays in our lives, and rendered with the same care with which he prepares and serves food.
