1000 small paintings is a project by painter and printmaker, Satta Hashem. For this event over 300 paintings from this body of work will be projected onto the facade of the Ramada Hotel opposite the Leicester City Council, as part of the Council’s CQ art digital projection programme.

Originally from Baghdad, Satta lives and works in Leicester. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around the world and is represented in public and private collections in the UK and internationally.
