About
Foraged Colour is a development of Linda Row’s vision of contemporary fashion as a closed-loop, sustainable, slow fashion industry, using locally grown and foraged plants and British fibres.
Four textile artists; Gill Hewitt, Eve Kumari, Penny Wheeler, and Frances Westerduin, created unique handmade woven, non-woven and printed textiles from British wool and silk, from which garments were designed and constructed by Linda.
This exhibition aims to encourage conversations on themes such as climate change, localism, embodied energy, ethical consumption, and sustainability. The project has been funded by Arts Council England.
