Following on from the New Art Exchange RESIDE artist residency this summer (July-Sept 2022) artist Saintly Amok will hold a seed sharing event inviting anyone in the community involved in growing, or interested in exploring the gifts that green spaces give us in the urban environment.

Following on from the New Art Exchange RESIDE artist residency this summer (July-Sept 2022) artist Saintly Amok will hold a seed sharing event inviting anyone in the community involved in growing, or interested in exploring the gifts that green spaces give us in the urban environment. The event is open to anyone and you are encouraged to bring along any seeds you wish to share, in any form.
Through wrapping and unwrapping the gifts of seeds participants will engage in talking, listening, and reflecting on the gifting economy and ideas of reciprocity as acts of resistance to counter consumer culture.
Light refreshments will be on offer, and the activity will encourage seating on the floor, so consider wearing comfortable clothing.
