Open call for Diasporas Now Northants show: global majority artists working across performance

Call out to artists of colour working across performance art, music, movement, film and spoken word in the Northants and East Midlands area – NN Contemporary Art is commissioning an exciting new Diasporas Now showcase evening on 2nd November 2023, supported by Arts Council England.

The event will take place in Northampton at NN Contemporary Art’s project space as part of the 2023-24 Diasporas Now UK tour, with additional events happening at Humber Street Gallery in Hull and the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London. Diasporas Now is a platform for expanded performance by the global majority, programming curated events that bridge workshops, panel discussions, museum lates, and nightlife. The Diasporas Now community celebrates cross-diasporic solidarity and champions artists of colour.
