Animate Projects is a Derby based visual arts agency, focused on experimental animation practice. Our Accelerate Sessions bring together animation artists, producers and curators, in conversation about aspects of contemporary animation practice.

For 2024 we’re inviting artists to curate these online events, and for our first session, on Tuesday, 23 January, Birgitta Hosea from the UK will be talking about live animation, with artists Rose Bond, Johannes DeYoung, and Miwa Matreyek.
