Surface Gallery is pleased to welcome thirty eight 2nd year Fine Art students of University of Lincoln and their exhibition, Emerge.

Combining work created in response to a medieval ecclesiastical site in Lincoln City centre,  and a broad range of studio work, Emerge presents a snap-shot of the work of the young artists and promises to provide relevant and exciting artwork from emerging East Midlands artists. The artwork presented is varied in subject and form, including painting, sculpture, installation and moving image. The work connects to contemporary issues and modern artistic practice to provide a fascinating display of artworks curated by the students themselves.

Emerge opens in the Project Space in conjunction with the International Postcard Show in the Main Gallery.

As always, there will be a donations bar with ales from local brewery, Springhead.
