Join artists Bridie Cheeseman and Jake Williams (otherwise known as Studio Studio) to develop a new mural project that will transform a 90ft wall on St Andrews Road, in Northampton.

Working in partnership with West Northants Council, the mural will reflect historic moments from Northampton’s history, recognising the town’s unique identity. Located in a prominent spot for commuters, the mural will give people a chance to connect with and appreciate Northampton’s rich past and exciting future.

Join Bridie and Jake to help us collaboratively explore and develop visual storytelling and design ideas for the mural, which will celebrate the impressive history of the former Northampton Castle and surrounding area.

These free workshops will see you diving into the heritage and stories from the castles timeline – from the trial of Thomas Beckett, to the brickwork that forms many of the towns buildings to this day – through creative experimentation, play and co-design. We look forward to joining you and kicking off this community driven public art project.
