Colourful Conversations

Sat 9 Mar 2024, 1–4:30pm

£10. talk & workshop, 18yrs+

Led by authors, advocates & curators Kate Power and Kathy Forsyth of Amazing Dyslexics, this colourful conversation will explore dyslexic strengths and creativity.

What are your dyslexic and neurodivergent strengths? What does dyslexia mean to you? What’s your definition of a dyslexic strength?

You are invited to be part of the Dear Dyslexia International Postcard Project. Design a postcard to be displayed at the exhibition, and online with 1000’s of others from around the world. The goal is to activate a global community around the unique strengths and perspectives that dyslexia offers — what we call “hyper-abilities.”

Amazing Dyslexics embrace their difference, use their dyslexic thinking, and focus on dyslexic strengths like creativity, problem-solving, empathy, and seeing in three dimensions.

Society needs these kinds of thinkers. When Amazing Dyslexics find jobs they love, in all sorts of careers, with hard work, collaboration, and technology they fly.

Open to all creatives considering themselves to be neurodivergent, or anyone supporting who wants to know more.
