Join us to celebrate the launch of ‘Reading List’, an exhibition by leading Taiwanese artist-filmmaker Wu Chi-Yu.

The evening will include a drinks reception, followed by talks and a screening of Digital Break, a collection of short films by Wu Chi-Yu and other cutting edge Taiwanese filmmakers.

Taiwanese artist Wu Chi-Yu explores censorship and national identity in ‘Reading List’, commissioned by Phoenix and Videoclub in association with Osmosis Festival Taipei.

Filmed in Northern Malaysia, the film features interviews with local communities, documenting their interactions with – and reactions to – books and literature that have been banned by the Malaysian state.
