Participants will use tacit handling to gain knowledge of Biopolymer fibres.

A practical workshop to create paper and vessels from biopolymer fibres: milk, soya bean and bamboo raw fibres. Participants will make a series of surfaces for stitch and drape moulded small 3-D items such as a tea-light holder or shell shape vessel.
Participants will use tacit handling to gain knowledge of Biopolymer fibres. Traditional paper making process is used to to make surface for stitch and small drape moulded forms. Gain senseoaesthetic experience of fibre characteristics to apply ecological textile practice using advanced ecological fibres
