What does your home sound like? Experiment with the familiar space around you to create new music.
Collaborate with sound artist and musician Rebecca Lee, with a hybrid workshop turning your home into a new set of instruments. Experiment with small vibrating, insect-like toys, which you will receive through the post. Place the toys on different surfaces around your home to create unconventional vibrating instruments before using professional online DJing software to sample the sounds and create new compositions that stem the online and offline worlds.
No prior experience required.

This workshop is part of Fermynwoods Contemporary Art’s series of artist led activities which utilise the best of the online and offline world, connecting people with one another and the natural world.
Rebecca Lee is a musician, composer and sound practitioner producing performance, sound works, collaborative project and publications, with a particular focus on producing nw forms of narrative and chronology.
