About

In this showcase we explore the work of York based weaver Jacqueline James, including the process of how she prepares her yarns and creates her artwork on a sturdy Swedish floor loom.

James creates unique rugs and wall hangings which are mainly contemporary in style with bold geometric patterns and stripe rhythms. Although varied, her main inspiration comes from the colours and patterns she sees in nature, landscapes and architecture.
