About
We are trial running SEND Sessions on Wed 22 & 29 Oct, 1pm-3pm, as part of our October Half Term Family Activities.
These are lower stimulation sessions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including neurodivergent individuals – and their families. These sessions are also for families who feel this environment would be suited to them, whether you have a diagnosis or not.
These sessions will include:
– Reduced Visitor Numbers
– Limited drop-in spaces available
– Lower Sounds & Subdued Lighting
– Additional Sensory toys & Ear Defenders
– Additional rest spaces for regulation
If there are additional requirements to support your access or engagement with this session please feel free to email info@nottinghamcontemporary.org or call 0115 948 9750.
Inspired by our new exhibitions by artist duo Basel Abbas and Ruanne Abou-Rahme and I Gusti Ayu Kadek Murniasih: Feels Strangely Good, Ya?, join us to make, explore and play.
We also have Family Activities on Tue, Wed, Thu 10am-12pm and Tue & Thu 1pm-3pm. You can find out more about these sessions here.
We invite you to book a space for your session as spaces are limited. Book one ticket per person, including adults & children. If you are unable to make it on the day, please cancel your tickets so that others may attend.
If you would like more information, or would like support in completing your booking, please call us on 0115 948 9750. Limited capacity.
