DEEP ROOTS TALL TREES PRESENTS – Our Woods – A festival of over 40 exciting and varied events in Corby’s woodlands September 2016 – May 2017

Something for everyone! Join in new ways of discovering and caring for our woods. The heart of our town.

OUR WOODS is a new and ambitious outdoors arts project led by Deep Roots Tall Trees with international singer Barb Jungr, choreographer Neil Paris and international sound and light artist Kurt Laurenz Theinert planned to take place from September 2016 to May 2017.

Our Woods is an invitation to Corby to come together and share the magic of its woodlands through song, dance and light. Produced by Deep Roots Tall Trees with Barb Jungr, Our Woods is an 18 month project commissioning professional dance, music, spoken word, visual and performance artists to work with local people, leading to a new series of songs written by Barb Jungr and DRTT. The new song cycle will respond to the creativity of professionals and Corby people and their relationship to the woods and will leading to a spectacular multidiscipline trail from Corby’s Hazel Wood into The Core at Corby Cube in May 2017. With DRTT songs firmly at the heart of this project throughout, the culmination will be a sound, light and movement performance featuring international light artist Kurt Laurenz Theinert
