Robert Wilson’s current practice navigates and blurs the territories between representations of reality, hyperreality and fiction in public facing images. Working in a photographic and mixed media approach, ‘Real Lies’ takes the focus away from the individual and points it towards surreal interactions with a range of modern and mundane objects. The series seeks to explore a collective relationship with perfection and excess by staging scenes of creative chaos.
