About

We are delighted to announce our latest production: Romeo and Juliet. In a dynamic 90-minute rendition of one of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedies, the two star-cross’d lovers find one other amidst the blood and violence that surrounds them. The Nottingham Shakespeare Company brings contemporary relevance and accessibility to Shakespeare’s timeless romance, exploring the role of gender in a fractured society, as they dance the lines between passion and obsession, love and sexuality, life and death. This is a show you won’t want to miss – whether you bring your friends, family or a Valentine’s date.

See Romeo and Juliet in February 2024, free no-frills Saturday matinees at 2pm, evening performances at 7pm …
