SEW OFF! We won’t be divided by hatred and fear, instead we will work to unite our community through art and craft. Contribute to a collaborative fabric tapestry for International Women’s Day 2017.
#BeBoldForChange. Call on the masses or call on yourself to help forge a better working world – a more inclusive, gender equal world.
This event will be accompanied by a spectacular exhibition, ‘Moksha’ (liberation), in the atrium. The work forms part of award winning visual artist, Kajal Nisha Patel’s Leverhulme Artist Residency at The University of Leicester. More than 100 individuals from eight different community groups participated in the creation of this work. This is the third time the work has been displayed, each time taking on a new meaning.
