About

Join artist AURA for a workshop aimed at trans* people, who are interested in exploring notions of identity and fluid states of the body.

This workshop will take place over two days, 14th and 15th October 3-6 pm.

How to history and transpose our experience? The workshop will focus on processes of internalisation and self-discovery. And then transform memories into movement – of the body, of words, of objects – while deconstructing and restructuring who we are.

No artistic training is necessary and a safe space will be provided where each participant can share and/or listen to different experiences, elaborate their life story and transcribe it into an artistic contribution using different materials and materialities.

*Trans includes anyone within the transgender spectrum (trans men, trans women, non-binary people, androgynous, demiboy, demigirl, two-spirit, genderqueer, genderfluid, agender, intersex, gender non-conforming, drag kings, drag queens, crossdressers, transvestites, gender questioning people, etc.)
