Zoetrope Making Workshop

Our Make it Yours workshops are back at the National Justice Museum! You’re invited to drop into our Creative Courtyard and make something inspired by the museum collection.

Learn how to create moving images with a handmade zoetrope. A zoetrope or “wheel of life” is one of several animation toys that produces the illusion of moving pictures. Artist, Clare Taylor, will guide you through each stage of the animation process.

This event is online via Zoom at 1:30pm till 3pm on Friday 30th September. If you are interested in attending the online workshop, please remember to add your address when ordering your ticket and book by 20/09/2022 to receive the materials in the post. All our Make it Yours from home (online sessions) will now have live captioning.

If you are outside UK we can send you the list of materials you will need to have for you to join the session😊

Our creative sessions are free and open to all. Join us to make and create together and contribute to our growing museum! The sessions will be led by artists, makers, and writers, all influenced by this unique museum.
